What a day!

I forgot to post this when I wrote it last night.

It is 8:30 p.m. and the house is quiet! All but one is asleep! Boy has it been a long day. I have been decluttering closets, Eric is working his night up at the hospital and I threw my back out again! Thursdays are our relax at home days! The days we do not have to get up early to take little eric to work, or have anything scheduled! You would think the kids would love a day to do pretty much what ever they wanted. Well I am starting to rethink that! As much as they want to just "chill", I find them more restless and at each other!!! They need a schedule even when school is out! As I got a few minutes in to talk to my best friend Heather on the phone today(she is going on baby #10 next month!), we were discussing, well I was discussing how I need to find someone that can teach my boys how to be Best Friends. So through our discussion we went over all our "large family" circle of friends whom I could turn to for advice. Funny thing is EVERYONE we came up with all have almost ALL girls!!! And we both think girls are definitely wired differently. So she told me she expects me to get it all figured out then I am suppose to write a book about it! WELL, We will just have to see about that one! But I do think working on character and their relationships with each other will be a big part of our home schooling for this coming up year! Well I am off of here to run to the store to pick up some things. Eric asked if I would make my famous Pineapple Upside Down cake for a potluck they are having at work tomorrow! He knows I can never say no to him!

Well because I forgot to post this, I now get to post what an uplifting ride I had to the grocery store! After such a long day, all it took was one song from my favorite radio station K-Love to put it all back into perspective. The song was basically saying God is in control and he is apart of us. So it just made me stop and realize even on those hard days, I do not need to take the burden on myself, but to give it to him and he will see my through it!
